New RISE-Health Research Unit Registers Over 1300 Researchers
On March 6, the new RISE-Health Research Unit completed the team registration stage. Proving that “the whole is greater than the sum of its parts”, RISE-Health registered a final number of integrated researchers greater than the sum of the researchers who were already part of each of the Research Units that led to its creation – CINTESIS – Center for Health Technology and Services Research, UnIC – Cardiovascular Research Center, MedInUP – Center for Pharmacological Research and Medicinal Innovation and CICS-UBI – Health Sciences Research Center.
RISE-Health represents “a natural increase in critical mass”
RISE-Health was made official on January 17, as part of the Evaluation of the Multi-Year Funding Program for R&D Units of the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT).
