RISE-Health Promotes Three Scientific Sessions on Neuroscience and Allergies in April and May

The initiatives will take place on 23 and 30 April, and 5 May, with the participation of RISE-Health researchers.

 

RISE-Health will be organising RISE Seminars on April 23, 30 and 5, three sessions dedicated to the areas of neuroscience and allergies. Organised by researchers Elsa Azevedo (RISE-Health@RISE/FMUP) and Luís Taborda Barata (RISE-Health/UBI), the sessions will take place online, as part of the monthly working meetings of Thematic Line 2 – Neurosciences, and Thematic Line 3 – Hormones, Infection, Inflammation and Metabolism.

The session ‘Obesity and Central Nervous System Disorders: Food for Thought’, which will take place on 23 April at 13h00, will be led by Eduardo Gomes (RISE-Health/E2S).

The session ‘Transforming Neuroanatomy Education: Integrating Dissection, 3D Printing, Augmented Reality, and Evidence-Based Innovation’, scheduled for 30 April at 13h00, will be led by Susana Silva (RISE-Health/FMUP).

Finally, the session ‘BIASReview Project – Biologicals in Allergy Systematic Review Project: in Chronic Rhinosinusitis with Nasal Polyps (CRSwNP) and in severe ocular allergy’, scheduled for 5 May at 17h30, will be led by José Laerte Boechat (RISE-Health@RISE/FMUP).
