On May 4 and 5, NursID returns to the School of Nursing at the University of Porto (ESEP), with the support of the RISE-Health Research Unit.

The event will bring together renowned healthcare professionals, researchers, and faculty members to discuss the future of research and nursing, while also serving as an opportunity to develop skills in the field of health research.

Under the theme “Nursing Research: Priorities, Impact, and Innovation,” NursID 2026 will feature the participation of Fernando Schmitt, director of the RISE-Health Research Unit.

The new edition of NursID will address, through conferences, roundtables, oral presentations, and posters, topics such as the priorities of nursing-centered research, funding, and research networks.

José Miguel Padilha, director of ESEP, Teresa Martins, Wilson Abreu, Rosa Silva (RISE-Health/ESEP), Tiago Jacinto (RISE-Health/FMUP), and Maria João Oliveira (RISE-Health/ICBAS-UP) are some of the RISE-Health researchers who will be attending the event.
