RISE-Health is supporting the 4th International Scientific Meeting on Paediatric Nursing at the São João University Hospital Centre (CHUSJ), which will take place on 22 and 23 May in the CIM Auditorium of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (FMUP).

With the theme ‘Innovation, research and technology in paediatric nursing: the future of healthcare’, the event, which is scheduled to start at 9 a.m., will address topics such as nutrition, complex diseases in children, diabetes and paediatric treatments.

Miguel Padilha, a researcher at RISE-Health@RISE/ESEP, will be one of the speakers, with a presentation entitled ‘Clinical simulation in nursing training and research’, scheduled for 23 May at 11 a.m. and moderated by Ricardo Cruz.

In the afternoon, it will be the turn of Pedro Melo (RISE-Health@RISE/ESEP) to take the stage and address, in a conference scheduled for 2:00 p.m., the ‘MAIEC Lab: Evidence and potential for the integration of clinical care and governance.’ Later, at 2:30 p.m., Cânia Torres (RISE-Health@RISE/ESEP), also a researcher at RISE-Health, will focus her presentation on ‘Using the model The Knowledge-to-Action to implement evidence-based nursing in child and family care.’
