Journal<\/strong>, da Unidade de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o RISE-Health e da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade do Porto (FMUP), acaba de lan\u00e7ar um Special Issue dedicado ao tema <strong>&#8220;Biomarkers in Medicine: From Discovery to Clinical Application&#8221;<\/strong>, com <em>Call for Papers<\/em> j\u00e1 aberta.<\/p><p>O <em>Special Issue<\/em>, que ser\u00e1 coordenado por <strong>Jos\u00e9 Paulo Andrade<\/strong>, <strong>Jo\u00e3o S\u00e9rgio Neves<\/strong> \u00a0(RISE-Health, FMUP) e <strong>Rui Medeiros<\/strong> (Instituto Portugu\u00eas de Oncologia do Porto), prop\u00f5e-se a reunir investiga\u00e7\u00e3o de elevada qualidade sobre a descoberta, valida\u00e7\u00e3o e implementa\u00e7\u00e3o cl\u00ednica de biomarcadores, cobrindo todo o espectro da investiga\u00e7\u00e3o biom\u00e9dica.<\/p><p>A iniciativa aceita artigos de investiga\u00e7\u00e3o originais, artigos de revis\u00e3o, incluindo revis\u00f5es sistem\u00e1ticas e meta-an\u00e1lises, artigos de perspetiva e <em>guidelines<\/em> cl\u00ednicas, nas seguintes \u00e1reas:<\/p><ul><li><strong>Biomarcadores em doen\u00e7as major (cancro, cardiovasculares, neurol\u00f3gicas)<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Novos biomarcadores (gen\u00f3micos, prote\u00f3micos, metabol\u00f3micos)<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Biomarcadores diagn\u00f3sticos, progn\u00f3sticos e preditivos<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Biomarcadores de imagem e digitais<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Descoberta de biomarcadores orientada por IA e dados<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Valida\u00e7\u00e3o cl\u00ednica e evid\u00eancia do mundo rea<\/strong>l<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>\u00a0<br \/><\/strong><strong>Com submiss\u00f5es abertas at\u00e9 6 de setembro, o Special Issue da RISE Health Research
