com dem\u00eancia tenham acesso a informa\u00e7\u00e3o relevante atrav\u00e9s do guia-pr\u00e1tico criado no \u00e2mbito do projeto de investiga\u00e7\u00e3o <a href=\"https:\/\/decohde.web.ua.pt\/\"><strong>DECOHDE \u2014 Design para a Comunica\u00e7\u00e3o Humanizada da Dem\u00eancia<\/strong><\/a>, uma iniciativa que conta com a participa\u00e7\u00e3o da Unidade de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o RISE-Health.<\/p><p>Esta iniciativa, que agora lan\u00e7ou um guia para designers e produtores de informa\u00e7\u00e3o com recomenda\u00e7\u00f5es para o design de informa\u00e7\u00e3o destinada a pessoas com dem\u00eancia, contou com a participa\u00e7\u00e3o de <strong>Oscar Ribeiro<\/strong> (RISE-Health@RISE\/UA) e <strong>Soraia Teles<\/strong> (RISE-Health@RISE\/FMUP), investigadores da Unidade de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o RISE-Health.<\/p><p>\u201cO DECOHDE \u00e9 importante porque responde a uma lacuna muito clara: apesar de existir informa\u00e7\u00e3o sobre dem\u00eancia, grande parte n\u00e3o \u00e9 pensada para as pr\u00f3prias pessoas que vivem com a condi\u00e7\u00e3o\u201d, apontam os especialistas da RISE-Health, mencionando que \u201co projeto DECOHDE procurou, justamente, investigar sobre formas mais adequadas, acess\u00edveis e significativas de comunicar informa\u00e7\u00e3o a pessoas com dem\u00eancia\u201d.<\/p><p>O trabalho agora dispon\u00edvel real\u00e7ou o desenvolvimento de conte\u00fado com <em>design<\/em> direcionado para as pessoas com dem\u00eancia, que <strong>vai permitir \u201cfacilitar [\u2026] o acesso da pessoa que vive com dem\u00eancia \u00e0 informa\u00e7\u00e3o importante para si\u201d<\/strong>, vincam os investigadores da maior Unidade de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o do pa\u00eds.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <br \/><br \/>Ao n\u00edvel da linguagem, \u201co uso de termos com conota\u00e7\u00f5es negativas ou o foco apenas nas limita\u00e7\u00f5es da pessoa pode refor\u00e7ar o estigma em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 dem\u00eancia. Por isso, \u00e9 essencial usar uma linguagem centrada na pessoa, que reconhe\u00e7a que a dem\u00eancia n\u00e3o define quem algu\u00e9m \u00e9\u201d, refor\u00e7a Soraia Teles.<\/p><p>Segundo os especialistas, existem 14 princ\u00edpios, entre eles a <strong>simplicidade, clareza e legibilidade, pelos quais <em>designers<\/em>, \u00a0profissionais da comunica\u00e7\u00e3o e outros produtores de informa\u00e7\u00e3o<\/strong> para pessoas com dem\u00eancia se devem guiar durante a produ\u00e7\u00e3o de informa\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p><p>\u201c\u00c9 desej\u00e1vel investir numa abordagem flex\u00edvel de <em>design<\/em> de informa\u00e7\u00e3o que permita o controlo por parte do utilizador: por exemplo, oferecer informa\u00e7\u00e3o em diferentes formatos &#8211; texto, \u00e1udio, imagem &#8211; n\u00edveis de detalhe e com op\u00e7\u00f5es de personaliza\u00e7\u00e3o. Recorrer a padr\u00f5es de utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o e conceitos familiares, assim como assegurar a consist\u00eancia visual e do comportamento do sistema, permite experi\u00eancias mais intuitivas, previs\u00edveis e est\u00e1veis, auxiliando o utilizador sem comprometer a sua autonomia, contribuindo para a confian\u00e7a na utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o de um sistema.<\/p><p>Liderado pela investigadora Rita Maldonado Branco, do Instituto de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o em Design, Media e Cultura (ID+), e contando com a participa\u00e7\u00e3o tamb\u00e9m do Centro de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o em M\u00e9dia Digitais e Intera\u00e7\u00e3o (DigiMedia), o projeto DECOHDE \u2014 Design para a Comunica\u00e7\u00e3o Humanizada da Dem\u00eancia \u00e9 o resultado do trabalho desenvolvido por um grupo de investigadores portugueses na Universidade de Aveiro, um dos centros de gest\u00e3o da Unidade de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o RISE-Health.
