lan\u00e7amento da <strong><em>RISE Health Research Journal<\/em><\/strong>, a nova revista cient\u00edfica que substitui a Porto Biomedical Journal (PBJ), assumindo-se como a continua\u00e7\u00e3o e evolu\u00e7\u00e3o do projeto iniciado h\u00e1 uma d\u00e9cada.<\/p><p>Atrav\u00e9s da RISE Health Research Journal, a RISE Health e a FMUP refor\u00e7am o seu compromisso com a qualidade editorial, a inova\u00e7\u00e3o e a visibilidade internacional da ci\u00eancia e da investiga\u00e7\u00e3o produzidas pelos seus investigadores.<\/p><p>Liderada por Fernando Schmitt, diretor da Unidade de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o RISE-Health e Professor Catedr\u00e1tico na FMUP, que agora assume a fun\u00e7\u00e3o de <em>Editor-in-Chief<\/em>, a renovada revista cient\u00edfica conta com Pedro Gomes como <em>Deputy Editor<\/em>, assim como novos Editores Associados de refer\u00eancia em \u00e1reas biom\u00e9dicas e cl\u00ednicas, que contribuir\u00e3o para o rigor cient\u00edfico e a proje\u00e7\u00e3o internacional da revista.<\/p><p>A nova equipa editorial vai permitir que a <strong><em>RISE Health Research Journal<\/em><\/strong> obtenha, pela primeira vez, o seu Fator de Impacto e indexa\u00e7\u00e3o na Web of Science, assegurando a consolida\u00e7\u00e3o da renovada revista da RISE-Health e da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade do Porto.<\/p><p>A <strong><em>RISE Health Research Journal<\/em><\/strong> conta com o selo de qualidade da Wolters Kluwer, uma conceituada editora cient\u00edfica internacional, e continua a ser publicada bimestralmente e exclusivamente em l\u00edngua inglesa. Al\u00e9m disso, a vers\u00e3o renovada da revista est\u00e1 dispon\u00edvel em acesso aberto, promovendo a livre circula\u00e7\u00e3o do conhecimento cient\u00edfico e incentivando a
