na <strong>8.\u00aa edi\u00e7\u00e3o do Pr\u00e9mio de Boas Pr\u00e1ticas de Envelhecimento Ativo e Saud\u00e1vel da Regi\u00e3o Centro<\/strong>.<\/p><p>No passado dia 10 de dezembro, na 8.\u00aa edi\u00e7\u00e3o do Pr\u00e9mio de Boas Pr\u00e1ticas de Envelhecimento Ativo e Saud\u00e1vel da Regi\u00e3o Centro, o projeto cient\u00edfico <strong>\u201cDesprescri\u00e7\u00e3o no Idoso\u201d<\/strong>, liderado por e <strong>Oscar Ribeiro<\/strong>, investigador do RISE-Health@RISE\/Universidade de Aveiro, Manuel Ver\u00edssimo do iCBR\/Faculdade Medicina da Universidade de Coimbra, e desenvolvido por <strong>Anabela Pereira<\/strong>, tamb\u00e9m investigadora da RISE-Health\/Universidade de Aveiro, foi distinguido, na categoria <strong>\u201cConhecimento+\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p><p>Atrav\u00e9s deste projeto, a equipa de especialistas analisou as atitudes de doentes e m\u00e9dicos sobre a redu\u00e7\u00e3o segura de medicamentos, contribuindo para combater a polifarm\u00e1cia a n\u00edvel nacional.<\/p><p>\u201cEste reconhecimento tem, para mim, um significado muito especial. Representa, antes de mais, a valoriza\u00e7\u00e3o de um trabalho de investiga\u00e7\u00e3o desenvolvido no \u00e2mbito do Programa Doutoral em Gerontologia e Geriatria, centrado num tema exigente, mas absolutamente central na pr\u00e1tica cl\u00ednica contempor\u00e2nea: a desprescri\u00e7\u00e3o no idoso\u201d, revela a investigadora <strong>Anabela Pereira<\/strong>, acrescentando que \u201ceste pr\u00e9mio evidencia, ainda, que a gest\u00e3o da polifarm\u00e1cia inapropriada \u00e9 uma preocupa\u00e7\u00e3o crescente na sociedade portuguesa e que a desprescri\u00e7\u00e3o tem um impacto real e positivo na seguran\u00e7a e no bem-estar das pessoas mais velhas\u201d.<\/p><p>Recorde-se que os Pr\u00e9mios de Boas Pr\u00e1ticas de Envelhecimento Ativo e Saud\u00e1vel da Regi\u00e3o Centro s\u00e3o uma iniciativa promovida pela Comiss\u00e3o de Coordena\u00e7\u00e3o e Desenvolvimento Regional \u2013 Centro em colabora\u00e7\u00e3o com os cons\u00f3rcios Ageing@Coimbra e AgeINfuture.
