class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>\u00a0<\/p><p>A RISE-Health assinalou ontem, 15 de dezembro, um momento importante ao formalizar os contratos, com a Funda\u00e7\u00e3o para a Ci\u00eancia e a Tecnologia (FCT), que d\u00e3o seguimento ao novo ciclo de financiamento nacional para Unidades de I&amp;D iniciado no passado m\u00eas de julho com a comunica\u00e7\u00e3o dos resultados finais do Processo de Avalia\u00e7\u00e3o e Financiamento de Unidades de I&amp;D 2023\/2024.<\/p><p>Na cerim\u00f3nia que contou com a participa\u00e7\u00e3o de <strong>Fernando Schmitt<\/strong>, diretor da Unidade de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o RISE-Health, <strong>Altamiro da Costa Pereira<\/strong>, diretor da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade do Porto, <strong>Francisco Cruz<\/strong>, subdiretor da mesma institui\u00e7\u00e3o, <strong>Roberto Roncon Albuquerque<\/strong>, Investigador Principal da RISE-Health e presidente do Conselho Pedag\u00f3gico da FMUP, <strong>Adelino Leite Moreira<\/strong>, investigador Principal da RISE-Health e presidente do Conselho Cient\u00edfico da FMUP, <strong>Elsa Azevedo<\/strong>, <strong>Paulo Santos<\/strong>, <strong>Ricardo Correia<\/strong> e <strong>In\u00eas Ribeiro Vaz<\/strong>, investigadores principais da RISE-Health, <strong>Milaydis Sosa<\/strong>, Gestora Executiva da RISE-Health, <strong>Carlos Taquechel <\/strong>e <strong>Cec\u00edlia Seabra<\/strong>, da equipa de gest\u00e3o da Unidade de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o, foi dado \u201co primeiro passo\u201d na execu\u00e7\u00e3o deste novo financiamento.<\/p><p>\u201cA assinatura deste contrato representa o reconhecimento nacional da excel\u00eancia cient\u00edfica da RISE-Health e refor\u00e7a o nosso compromisso de produzir investiga\u00e7\u00e3o com impacto real na sa\u00fade das popula\u00e7\u00f5es\u201d, vincou <strong>Fernando Schmitt<\/strong>, diretor da RISE-Health.<\/p><p>Ao firmar estes documentos, a maior Unidade de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o do pa\u00eds v\u00ea-lhe oficialmente atribu\u00edda uma verba de <strong>12,4 milh\u00f5es de euros<\/strong>, o terceiro maior financiamento cedido a uma U&amp;D em Portugal, nesta edi\u00e7\u00e3o, sendo que cerca de 60% da mesma ser\u00e1 direcionada para o refor\u00e7o da infraestrutura cient\u00edfica da RISE-Health.<\/p><p>Recorde-se que a Unidade de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o RISE-Health \u00e9 o resultado da fus\u00e3o do CINTESIS \u2013 Centro de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o em Tecnologias e Servi\u00e7os de Sa\u00fade, da UnIC \u2013 Unidade de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o e Desenvolvimento Cardiovascular, do MedInUP \u2013 Centro de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o Farmacol\u00f3gica e Inova\u00e7\u00e3o em F\u00e1rmacos e do CICS-UBI \u2013 Centro de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o em Ci\u00eancias da Sa\u00fade.<\/p><p>Com sede na FMUP, esta nova unidade de investiga\u00e7\u00e3o ter\u00e1 centros de gest\u00e3o em seis unidades org\u00e2nicas da U.
