class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>\u00a0<\/p><p>A <strong>Unidade de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o<\/strong> <strong>RISE-Health<\/strong> est\u00e1 representada por treze investigadores(as) na lista dos cientistas mais citados do mundo em 2024.<\/p><p>A mais recente vers\u00e3o da \u201c<em>World\u2019s Top 2% Scientists list<\/em>\u201d, lista desenvolvida por investigadores da Universidade de Stanford (EUA) e publicada pela prestigiada editora Elsevier, cobre um total de 22 \u00e1reas e 174 disciplinas cient\u00edficas, destacando uma sele\u00e7\u00e3o restrita de cientistas.<\/p><p>Para o desenvolvimento desta lista foi utilizado o C-Score, um indicador que analisa o impacto da investiga\u00e7\u00e3o, de acordo com crit\u00e9rios como o n\u00famero de artigos citados e o n\u00famero total de cita\u00e7\u00f5es, tendo tamb\u00e9m em considera\u00e7\u00e3o outros fatores, como a coautoria ou a posi\u00e7\u00e3o do autor no trabalho publicado.<\/p><p>A <strong>RISE-Health<\/strong> \u00e9 representada por treze investigadores na \u201cWorld\u2019s Top 2% Scientists list\u201d, destacando-se nomes como <strong>Fernando Schmitt<\/strong>, diretor da Unidade de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o, <strong>Adelino Leite-Moreira<\/strong>, <strong>Armando Mansilha<\/strong>, <strong>Bernardo Sousa Pinto <\/strong>e<strong> Francisco Cruz<\/strong> (RISE-Health\/FMUP) e <strong>Constan\u00e7a Pa\u00fal<\/strong> (RISE-Health@\/ICBAS-UP). <strong>Fernando Magro<\/strong>, <strong>Jo\u00e3o Pedro Ferreira<\/strong>, <strong>Jo\u00e3o Vasco Santos<\/strong>, <strong>Lu\u00eds Azevedo<\/strong>, <strong>Matilde Monteiro Soares<\/strong>, <strong>Nuno Vale <\/strong>e<strong> Patr\u00edcio Soares da Silva<\/strong> (RISE-Health\/FMUP) tamb\u00e9m\u00a0 integram os investigadores mais citados em 2024.<\/p><p>J\u00e1 a lista de investigadores da <strong>Unidade de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o RISE-Health <\/strong>mais citados (com C-Score mais elevado) ao longo da carreira inclui <strong>Fernando Schmitt<\/strong>, <strong>Adelino Leite-Moreira, Ant\u00f3nio Carlos Sarmento<\/strong>, <strong>Fernando Magro<\/strong>, <strong>Francisco Cruz, Jo\u00e3o Pedro Ferreira<\/strong> e<strong> Patr\u00edcio Soares da Silva <\/strong>(RISE-Health\/FMUP).<\/p><p>No total, a lista integra mais de 236 mil cientistas de todo o mundo, 984 dos quais desenvolvem ou desenvolveram o seu trabalho em institui\u00e7\u00f5es cient\u00edficas portuguesas.<\/p><p>A \u201c<em>World\u2019s Top 2% Scientists list<\/em>\u201d foi publicada, pela primeira vez, em 2019 e pretende, a longo prazo, criar um banco de dados de mais de 100 mil cientistas, dispon\u00edvel ao p\u00fablico.
