Para isso, ser\u00e1 criada uma coorte de volunt\u00e1rios com 65 ou mais anos no concelho da Guarda, cujos estados de sa\u00fade, estilos de vida e fun\u00e7\u00f5es cognitivas ser\u00e3o avaliados. Ser\u00e3o recolhidas amostras de sangue e outros materiais biol\u00f3gicos para identificar biomarcadores imunol\u00f3gicos no sangue que possam ajudar os profissionais de sa\u00fade a detetar precocemente o decl\u00ednio cognitivo.<\/p><p>Entre os biomarcadores em estudo destacam-se os linf\u00f3citos T CD8+ e as mol\u00e9culas sol\u00faveis conhecidas como Antig\u00e9nios Leucocit\u00e1rios Humanos da Classe I (HLA-I). O estudo destes marcadores permitir\u00e1 compreender melhor se as altera\u00e7\u00f5es cognitivas associadas ao envelhecimento se relacionam com oscila\u00e7\u00f5es no sistema imunol\u00f3gico. Este projeto poder\u00e1 contribuir para o desenvolvimento de m\u00e9todos de diagn\u00f3stico precoce, bem como para a cria\u00e7\u00e3o de novas estrat\u00e9gias de preven\u00e7\u00e3o ou tratamento.<\/p><p>Al\u00e9m disso, o projeto \u201cEBIGuardian\u201d envolver\u00e1 profissionais de sa\u00fade, pessoas mais velhas, familiares e estudantes, promovendo a partilha de conhecimento e a aprendizagem na comunidade.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-96d495e elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\"
