O Conselho Portugu\u00eas para o C\u00e9rebro ocupa um lugar \u00fanico no panorama cient\u00edfico portugu\u00eas, ao reunir membros das Sociedades Portuguesas de Neurologia, Psiquiatria, Neurorradiologia, Neuropediatria, Neuroci\u00eancias e Neurocirurgia, unindo-nos um prop\u00f3sito comum que \u00e9 o da promo\u00e7\u00e3o da sa\u00fade cerebral, reconhecendo a complementaridade das diversas vertentes\u201d, reage o tamb\u00e9m professor da\u00a0<strong>Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade do Porto (FMUP)<\/strong>\u00a0e especialista em Neurocirurgia da\u00a0<strong>ULS S\u00e3o Jo\u00e3o<\/strong>.<\/p><p>Neste\u00a0<strong>tri\u00e9nio<\/strong>, Pedro Alberto Silva pretende \u201cpromover iniciativas e a\u00e7\u00f5es com o objetivo de expandir o conhecimento em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao c\u00e9rebro, sustentar a coopera\u00e7\u00e3o estabelecida com o\u00a0<em>European Brain Council\u00a0<\/em>(organismo que, na Uni\u00e3o Europeia, persegue aqueles mesmos objetivos, reunindo associa\u00e7\u00f5es de v\u00e1rios pa\u00edses europeus com interesses espec\u00edficos na investiga\u00e7\u00e3o do sistema nervoso), refor\u00e7ar a liga\u00e7\u00e3o com as organiza\u00e7\u00f5es associadas, expandir os campos de a\u00e7\u00e3o do CPC e envolver elementos jovens\u201d.<\/p><p>Nestes pr\u00f3ximos anos, diz, \u201ca nossa energia ir\u00e1 no sentido de demonstrar a sua preponder\u00e2ncia enquanto mecanismo social de prote\u00e7\u00e3o da vida e da qualidade de vida. Sem investimento dirigido, corremos o risco de perder vetores de trabalho e os melhores elementos a agir neste campo. Acreditamos que todos os esfor\u00e7os s\u00e3o poucos\u201d.<\/p><p>O\u00a0<strong>Conselho Portugu\u00eas para o C\u00e9rebro<\/strong>\u00a0\u00e9 um \u00f3rg\u00e3o associativo sem fins lucrativos, criado no final de 2017,\u00a0que re\u00fane sociedades cient\u00edficas, personalidades individuais, grupos profissionais e associa\u00e7\u00f5es de doentes e seus familiares, com interesse comum no estudo e na assist\u00eancia na \u00e1rea do sistema nervoso.
