O RISE-Health \u00e9<\/b> uma Unidade de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o<\/b> \u00edmpar, criada a partir da fus\u00e3o de quatro Unidades previamente existentes nas \u00e1reas das Ci\u00eancias da Sa\u00fade e da Medicina: CINTESIS \u2013 Centro de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o em Tecnologias e Servi\u00e7os de Sa\u00fade<\/a> <\/b>e\u00a0UnIC \u2013 Unidade de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o e Desenvolvimento Cardiovascular<\/a>,<\/b> ambas da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade do Porto (FMUP), MedInUP \u2013 Centro de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o Farmacol\u00f3gica e Inova\u00e7\u00e3o Medicamentosa<\/a><\/b>, do ICBAS \u2013 Instituto de Ci\u00eancias Biom\u00e9dicas Abel Salazar,\u00a0e CICS-UBI \u2013 Centro de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o em Ci\u00eancias da Sa\u00fade<\/a><\/b>, da Faculdade de Ci\u00eancias da Sa\u00fade da Universidade da\u00a0 Beira Interior (UBI).\u00a0<\/p>

Numa posi\u00e7\u00e3o excecional para fazer avan\u00e7ar as fronteiras da investiga\u00e7\u00e3o biom\u00e9dica e da inova\u00e7\u00e3o desde o laborat\u00f3rio at\u00e9 \u00e0 comunidade, o RISE-Health consubstancia um novo \u201chub\u201d, focado na investiga\u00e7\u00e3o cl\u00ednica e translacional em doen\u00e7as cardiovasculares<\/b>, degenerativas e inflamat\u00f3rias, contando com um painel profundamente multidisciplinar de mais de 1.300 investigadores<\/b> de v\u00e1rias origens, incluindo cientistas b\u00e1sicos e cl\u00ednicos.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

O RISE-Health \u00e9 suportado por uma infraestrutura cient\u00edfica ampla e robusta, distribu\u00edda por todo o pa\u00eds, que potencia significativamente a massa cr\u00edtica e aumenta as sinergias, contribuindo para aumentar o impacto social. Com sede na FMUP, esta unidade multic\u00eantrica \u00e9 composta por 4 escolas m\u00e9dicas<\/b> e 3 escolas de enfermagem<\/b>, a par de centros acad\u00e9micos de relevo<\/b> e hospitais de refer\u00eancia<\/b>, privilegiando a colabora\u00e7\u00e3o entre a investiga\u00e7\u00e3o, o ensino, a pr\u00e1tica cl\u00ednica e a inova\u00e7\u00e3o biom\u00e9dica. O seu vasto espetro de compet\u00eancias engloba a sa\u00fade digital, a inform\u00e1tica na sa\u00fade e a intelig\u00eancia artificial.<\/p>

Enquanto Unidade de I&D abrangente, o RISE-Health representa uma mudan\u00e7a de paradigma <\/b>no atual Sistema Nacional de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o e Inova\u00e7\u00e3o portugu\u00eas, visando a excel\u00eancia na investiga\u00e7\u00e3o biom\u00e9dica e avan\u00e7os inovadores nos cuidados de sa\u00fade.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
