Paulo Santos
Paulo Santos is a researcher at the Center for Health Technology and Services Research (CINTESIS), where he coordinates the PrimeCare research group, and an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (FMUP). At this institution, he is also director of the Master’s Degree in Primary Health Care.
With a degree in medicine (1995) and a doctorate (2014) from FMUP, Paulo Santos is a Family Medicine specialist with expertise in Geriatrics.
Since 2021, he has been president of the General and Family Medicine Specialty College of the Portuguese Medical Association.
He is the author of two book chapters and two books, and he has written dozens of scientific articles focusing on general and family medicine, public health, preventive medicine, and primary health care.
